The Sooner Club of Las Vegas is the official Las Vegas, NV support group of the University of Oklahoma. Membership is open to alumni and friends of the University of Oklahoma in the southern Nevada area.

Our purpose is to:

• Provide fellowship for alumni and friends of OU

• Encourage a better informed alumni body

• Promote the interests and needs of the University in the community

• Provide an annual academic scholarship to a graduating senior from a Nevada high school who is admitted to the University of Oklahoma

Funds for the scholarship come from membership dues, tax-deductible donations and other fund raising efforts by our members. Our scholarship is matched up to $2,500 per scholarship recipient, per academic year by the University of Oklahoma in fee waivers.
